Object Type

Description
Plaquette; pentagonal fragment of a very smooth-grained pebble with white surface accretions, broken on four (if not five) sides before decoration. It is decorated on one surface only with the head and forequarters of a horse, facing right. This animal has a finely-hachured mane, engraved on the side of the stone, and perhaps two heads. This part of the surface is however, worn, as is the remainder. Bunches of lines can be distinguished, but nothing more.
