Description
Very thin bone disc, cut from a scapula with denticulated edge and a notch at the base. Engraved on one side with a barbed line drawn vertically down the centre and a circumferential line on the left half only. The opposite side is undecorated. Disc is now broken at the toop but the remaining shape suggests a projection here. Perhaps this formed a toggle or had a perforation; there is no other means of suspension. It is a delicate piece and skilfully made.
