Description
Fragment of large bâton (antler) with a single small perforation. Ovoid in section. A projecting tine has been trimmed, one extension of the shaft has been cut through and the other is now broken. One surface is decorated with a line engraved around the periphery of the piece, with three bands of deeply cut notches divided by grooves and, near the break in the shaft, with two isolated indentations and odd lines. The opposite surface has a simpler series of notches and a slightly raised collar near the break.
