Description
Pectoral icon; carved wood set in metal mount and covered with glass; one side has the Annunciation, Presentation of Christ in the Temple, and Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple; the other has Pentecost, the Raising of Lazarus, and the Resurrection; on each side there are also eight nimbed busts, representing the Tree of Jesse (with Christ's ancestors in the branches) and Christ the Wine (with the apostles in the branches). Openwork.
