Iron belt buckle: massive oval loop an inclined strip; separate tongue with basal shield; broad, tongue-shaped plate with folded flap attachment; profiled edge; corroded overlaid silver with inlaid encrusted geometric decoration apparently of wide border of loops around outlined trapezoid panel with three conjoined loops; originally five attachment rivets, now all missing.
