2. Form F2, with the element on the foot deeply dished, the bow hollowed underneath and the spring (in one piece with the bow) wrapped round an iron bar - i.e. two-piece construction, cf. Mansfield, G., 1973, ‘Die Fibeln der Heunburg 1950-1970’ (Römisch-Germanisch Forschungen, 33), Berlin, fig. 8, form y. There are similar brooches from the early stage of the Les Jogasses cemetery, graves 24, 32, 42, 116, 130 and 179.
