Brooch with decorative bow element: (‘Doppelzierfibel’: Mansfield, G., 1973, ‘Die Fibeln der Heunburg 1950-1970’ (Römisch-Germanisch Forschungen, 33), Berlin, 43-6, form dZ) This form is rare in Champagne, but there are examples from Bouzy and Vert-la-Gravelle (Joffroy, R., 1960, ‘L’oppidum de Vix et la civilisation hallstattienne finale dans l’est de la France’ (Publications de l’université de Dijon, 20), pl. 21, 16 and pl. 24, 3).
Lacking the spring and pin but it has been of two-piece construction. Mansfeld form dZ3.
