Context: La Tène I brooches
6. Brooch with wide-arched bow, four-coil spring with external chord, and foot sloping up to the bow. It is
related to the 'Roof-bow' brooch (Hodson, F.R., 1968, ‘ The La Tène cemetery at Müsingen-Rain’ (Acta Bernensia, 5) Bern, 35; Kruta, V., 1977, Les fibulas laténiennes à décor d’inspiration végétale au IVe siècleavant notre ère, ‘Etides Celtiques’ (15), 24) but the arch is less steep and it belongs to the end of La Tène Ia and the start of La Tène Ib. The form of the foot varies considerably.
