Two copper alloy brooches with long, low lightly ribbed bow with near vertical sides, triangular foot-space, globular element and four-coil spring with external chord. Linked via the feet by a chain (circular links, butt jointed).

Context: La Tène I brooches
8. Brooches with bow and foot-space similar to a Dux brooch, but the foot has a small disc element with applied ornament (lost, unless noted) and the spring has only four coils and an external chord. There are few brooches of this type in recorded grave groups; one from La Cheppe grave 13 is associated with the earlier variety of serpentiform bracelet ( = the earlier part of La Tène Ib).
These brooches are a variety of 8., similar in shape but with a globular element.
