Copper alloy torc with thistle-head terminals, cast in one piece. Conical, flaring end with a broad deep collar flanked by cordons. Decoration on the sides of the terminal, the cordon and in an adjoining tapering panel on the body. Slightly hollowed end face. Notched cordon round the middle of the flared end, and others bordering the collar. Four ring-and-dot motifs on each collar. Central rib on the body, ribbed at either side, expanding to enclose a ring and dot.

Correlated in the Register with Morel, L., 1898, ‘La Champagne souterraine’ Reims, pl. 38, fig. 15, but there are differences.
Context: Torcs with ‘thistle-headed’ terminals
Conical, flaring end with a broad deep collar flanked by cordons. Decoration on the sides of the terminal, the cordon and in an adjoining tapering panel on the body (Fig. 1, type T). A La Tène Ib type, associated with type R brooches at Beine ‘l’Argentelle’ grave 30 and Etoges grave 17; with Dux brooches (Rruta type I) at Hauviné grave 1, Lavannes 'Mont de la Fourche' grave 10, Caurel 'la Fosse Minore' grave 46, Les Grandes Loges grave 9, Beine ‘l’Argentelle’ grave 25 (also with Kruta type VII, and with a 'Münsingen' brooch); and with 'Münsingen' brooches at Beine 'le Montéqueux' grave 2 and Prunay ‘les Commelles’ grave 30.
