Part of decorated Samian Ware bowl, with part of rim but no foot. Decorated in panels divided by rows of beads ending above in reel-ornaments, the same ornament being repeated half-way down: 1) Pan, ithyphallic, moving to right. 2) Double panel: above, festoon with deer running to righ; below, boar to right. 3) Nude man to front with drapery hanging from left arm, holding something in each hand; indistinct. 4) Apollo to left, nude, with right food drawn back, left hand on hip, and large laurel-branch in right hand; beyond, 1) and 2) repeated. Above the design, egg-and-tassel and zig-zag line. Good glaze.
