Dish; earthenware; deep with raised, gadrooned central boss, flat well almost vertical sides and projecting, broad, gadrooned flange; covered both sides with an off-white tin-glaze and painted with golden lustre and blue; obverse, in the centre a shield of arms, on a fern three stars in reserve on lustre, in base bendy white and lustre, in chief three fleur-de-lis, surrounded by meander scrolls; the gadroons have floral, net and wheel patterns; the well has three concentric circles, the two outer ones have the net motif; the middle circle has foliate scrollwork; on the walls a band of the dot-and-stalk motif and floral motif in white; two suspension holes; reverse, a central rosette three bands of fern-foliage and scrolls.
