A wide, rectangular cushion cover. Made of red, cream and black chequered cotton fabric; commercially made, tabby woven. The closed end has multicoloured diamond and zigzag stripes (woven as bands), worked in supplementary weft: cream, maroon, red, blue, black, yellow woollen yarns and a little gold-coloured metal-wrapped thead. The open end is turned and machine stitched and the top and bottom edge of the cushion cover has been overstitched with red cotton thread.
