A woman's apron; long, and made from a single piece of tapestry and weft faced tabby woven wool cloth. Four wide bands with geometric motifs worked on a black or alternately a green/brown/black 'ground'. Narrower bands with isolated geometric motifs on a black 'ground', zigzag patterning, and thin bands with interrupted lines. All worked in polychrome wool and white cotton (?) yarns. Blocks of solid colour blanket stitch embroidery at the sides and hemline, with small tufts of wool at sides. Ties made from red and green braided wool yarn.
