A woman's blouse, embroidered with blue cotton yarns; long sleeves. Made from white tabby cotton cloth (cheesecloth). A 30 cms vertical panel worked below round neck centre with front opening. Five leaf motifs attached to each side, all framed by five vertical isolated diamond motifs. Smocking at neckline, fastened with blue drawstring with tassels. Isolated round motifs on the back, worked on the diagonal. Diamond-shaped gusset under arm. A large rectangular panel on outer sleeve, with a vertical one extending to sleeve end, worked in the same patterning at the body of the blouse. Drawstring with tassels at sleeve ends. Each panel joined by faggoting. Staining at right front neckline.
