A towel, a 'prosop'; wide, and made of white cotton cloth with a large-scale twill woven self-coloured pattern. Towards each warp end is a black diamond-patterned band, framed on each side by two thinner blue bands; woollen yarns. Line of hem stitching at each warp end. Much stained.
