Mărtisor or good luck token, a chimneysweep, made of cut paper and black felted wool, glued onto a rectangular piece of red card. The sweep's body in black felted wool, his bow tie, shirt, ladder and face in paper. A bow of red and white silk (?) thread is stapled to the top right hand corner.

Given and received on 1st March, with good wishes for health and happiness during the coming spring.
