Belt clasp, copper alloy, in two parts, cast, each in the form of a boteh or palm leaf, with a crested bird within a border of foliate ornament. At the back of each half, two metal bars for attachment to fabric.

- According to donor this clasp is typical of the Sofia region. For a closely similar buckle, see Lyuben Maslinkov, 'Old Goldsmithery in Sofia', Sofia 1987, no. 121, descibed as 'cast brass, bought in Sofia about 1885; worn in village of Ogoya.'
