A small wall-hanging, a 'batista'; predominantly red, with polychrome bands. Made of weft faced tabby woven cotton cloth. Bands are woven as a mirror image about the centre band: using white, yellow, green, blue, maroon and orange. Plain cream bands at each warp end, which is turned and machine stitched. Unused.

- Made by Magda Ciobanu her and mother over 1930s-1990s. This type of domestic textile, a 'batistă', is given as a gift to wedding guests and used as wall-hangings.
