A decorative towel. White tabby woven cotton cloth with groups of multicoloured bands towards each end. The widest band has two complete and two partial hexagon motifs (pink and white lines). The surrounding area is worked in gauze weave. These bands are framed by a fine maroon band (inner), red, green/maroon (with loops), red, and black (outer). Attached to the warp ends (which are turned and machine stitched) is a wide macramé trim of linked circles, worked in white cotton thread, with a pink band in the centre.
