A woman's apron. A pleated apron made from natural cream fine cotton tabby cloth. Same-size box pleats sewn onto a 'V'-shaped band. Commercially made trim of cut thread embroidery, with a scalloped edge, machine sewn to the sides and hem. Towards the hem are five circular motifs linked by two lines, and with three lines extending vertically above each motif, worked (by hand?) in cut work. Two apron ties sewn to the sides of the waist band.
