A woman's apron; made of one piece of rough wool fabric, predominantly red, with regularly spaced stripes (woven as bands). Hand woven twill; blue, green, white and pink woven stripes with stylized floral and diagonal motifs (using the same coloured wools) Woven in discontinuous supplementary weft. Green hand crocheted cotton trimming, dyed unevenly, sewn to the hem. It has a scalloped edge, finished in red wool yarn. Three darts at top of apron, hand stitched. The ties are formed from one long braid, made from pink, brown and blue wool, which is is hand stitched along the top of the apron.
