A woman's wool apron; made of one piece of black fabric with blue stripes (woven as bands). One wide blue cotton stripe in the centre, and one at each edge, frame two narrower stripes, seven stripes in total. These contain cross-shaped ('X') motifs, worked in discontinuous supplementary weft (?), using white, yellow, pink, green, brown and orange wool yarns. Black cotton twill fabric trims the sides and hem. Four darts in the top of the apron; hand stitched. Ties formed from one long round braid, made from red, green, blue and black wool, which is hand stitched along the top of the apron.
