A long, rectangular chequered wool cloth woven to be made up into bags. Twill woven (2/2) using red, white, blue and green woollen yarns. Selvedges at the longer sides. Warp ends turned and hand stitched. Some damage, especially at warp ends.

- Curator's comments
- Eth Doc 1870: The cloth was bought from the daughter of its maker, Maria Stan, who said that it had been made when her mother was a young woman, 'about 60 years ago'. The cloth could be made up into single bags (traistă) or double bags (desagi).
