A pair of man's (?) mittens. Knitted (stranded knitting) in stocking stitch using natural cream, orange and maroon woollen yarn. Diamond trellis patterning, outlined in orange and worked on the diagonal, with cream geometric motif inside each diamond. A band of orange eight-pointed snowflake motifs on a maroon 'ground' at wrist. Double band of embroidery on either side, with the appearance of plaiting. Picot edge. Unworn.
