A woman's plastron, a small item of clothing covering the breast. Rectangular in shape and with a round neckline, it is made from a floral printed cotton fabric: sprigs of orange and green and some yellow flowers on a cream-coloured ground. A rectangular piece of commercially manufactured dark blue embroidered net is sewn to the front. Machine stitched.

- Text from Eth Doc 1836 (entry 69): Shirt-front. It is made of a cotton print. It is supposed to cover the front slit of the shirt.
Woman's costume from the village of Dolen, Gotsedelchev district, Pirin mountains, south east Bulgaria. Beginning of the C20th.
