Coin chain, a man's shirt front ornament, copper alloy, hung with thirty-nine Turkish coins of different denominations. The largest coin is a silver zol of Mahmud II (1808-39), minted in Istanbul in 1808. The two medium sized coins are half kurs, one of Mahmud II, the other of Abdul Mejid (1839-61), minted in 1839. The small coins are all Abdul Hamid I (1774-89), minted in 1774 or Mustafa III (1757-74).
