Earthenware jug ('krondir'), for storing liquids, red body, wheel-thrown, the mouth partly covered with a fixed lid, the spout has ridges at the top and is joined to the body; incised decoration at shoulders and large diagonal incisions round body. A mid and dark green glaze covers much of the body with drips at the base. Where the glaze has not reached, white slip is visible beneath the lighter green.

- Text from Eth Doc 1836 (entry 192): This 'krondir' is used for drinks and is used on holidays, rituals, weddings etc. The yellowish-green glaze with blots of dripping paint is characteristic.
