Timepiece mantle clock with brass dial and cartouche numerals in a rectangular mahogany case with decorative floral panels.
Case:
Rectangular mahogany case with decorative floral panels. large door on back. Decorative brass bezel.
Dial:
Circular pressed brass dial with cream enamel cartouche numerals with roman hour numerals (I-XII). Blued steel spade hour and minute hands. Putti in centre of dial.
Movement:
'Victor' 30hr timepiece movement with solid back plate. Open spring. Pin pallet escapement.

this clock has the same 'Victor' movement seen in 2017,8031.1, but in this example with a solid back plate, which is rare. Possibly this was a selling point for cheap clocks, i.e. "better quality. Peter Gosnell has seen advertisements for Junghans declaring such but has not seen them for BUCC clocks.
