Striking lantern clock
Case:
Iron posted-frame with two turned brass finials at top front corners, and another over bell. Pierced fret above dial with stylised shield and crown supported at either side by unidentified animals (possibly dogs?).
Dial:
Wide silvered chapter ring with arcaded outer minute track with arabic numerals (5-60) Roman hour numerals (I-XII) with dashed half-hour markers. Inner ring with dashed half-hour markers. Central brass disc with starburst design. Brass hour and minute hand .
Movement:
Weight-driven movement (endless rope, with one large weight on pulley, and donut counterweight). Anchor escapement and long pendulum, countwheel striking clock with pendulum.
