- Made by vacuum pressure moulding, which created the irregular perforations. The perforations allowed circulation of air necessary to keep the fruit fresh. See 'Danese Milano Production Catalogue 1976', no. 13, 3071A. Initially designed for and produced by Danese Milano, the 'Adal' bowl has been made by Alessi since 1997.
