- Curator's comments
- The 'Flora' series was one of Nuutajärvi 's most successful ranges of tableware. When it was first designed by Toikka in 1966, the intention was that it would be pressed but the effect given by mould-blowing was so much better, that this technique was adopted instead. This stemmed bowl is model no. 1377, designed in 1968, two years after the initial tumblers and glasses. It was produced in clear, blue, dark grey and violet glass.
