- Curator's comments
- UKCC made Westminster chiming movements which were stamped 'MADE IN ENGLAND' for a few years before the Second World War.
This clock is identical to GUFA movements made in the BADUF works in Germany after it was re-equipped and managed by Charles Schatz, (son of Carl Schatz).
This example has the Schatz system of beat adjustment, typical of their production in Baduf.
