Chiming grandmother clock with rectangular chrome bezel, rectangular silvered chapter ring in an art deco style case decorated with various woods.
Platform escapement. 4+4 gongs.

This gramdmother clock has an 8-hammer version of the Perivale 5-hammer movement made for mantel clocks. It has a platform escapement, and four hammers striking the hours, and four chiming.
A pendulum version of this movement was available, (see 2012,8028.62).
