Woman's waistcoat ('cojoc'), with side opening and fastening on left shoulder, the exterior of chocolate brown cotton velvet embroidered with floral motifs in cotton thread, decorated with pierced dark brown leather appliqué borders round neck, armholes and hem sewn over thick white leather which shows through beneath the pierced work and forms a contrasting trim, scalloped with pinking shears, and folded over to form the trim at neck and armholes. The leather sewn on in red thread, with a couched blue thread edging. A narrow band of knitted dark brown wool at hem and side opening. Fastened with buttons made of a knot of white leather and loops of twisted brown leather, one button on the shoulder and loops for three buttons at the side, of which one is missing. A small leather tassel on the opposite side. The lining of twill-woven wool, in natural undyed cream on the front and brown on the back.
