Apron, black rayon (?), gathered at waistband, with overall pattern of small rose spays. Commercially-made black lace ribbon on waistband and down front, a wider ribbon at each edge and two narrower ribbons in the centre. Beneath the vertical lace ribbons embroidery in green, purple and black cotton thread over paper stiffening is just visible. The central part of the waistband embroidered in black with green and purple threads.
