Two pillow covers:
a) hand spun and hand woven cream linen, a loose weave with varying shades of thread, embroidered on the front in bright red cotton thread with confronted birds amidst foliage and a row of tulip heads below.
b) white linen, embroidered in bright red cotton thread with two hearts containing tulip heads, between a row of tulip heads above and below. The reverse in two pieces with traces of former stitching indicating that an earlier piece of fabric has been re-used.
