Dial of a Thirty-Hour Longcase Clock.
Square painted iron dial. Gold painted spandrel ornaments in the form of foliate sprays. With in circle, the minutes, marked by dots are numbered 0-60 at five-minute intervals. Roman hours I-XII surround an inner plain circle.. Below XII is a circle containing a subsidiary seconds dial consisting of a circle of dots numbered 0-60 at ten-second intervals. Below the centre a sector aperture reveals a date disc calibrated 0-31 and numbered at three-day intervals, 3,6,9,12, etc - 27,31. The maker's name and place are painted above VI. There are three rivetted feet on the back of the dial.
