Gold bracelet clasp, set with a river scene painted in sepia and hair on ivory under glass. A figure at the right seated by a tree looks across the water at a house and sailing boat, the outlines of the sails and the ripples on the water indicated in single laid strands of hair. At top a fixed flange pierced with holes for gold or seed pearl strings; at the base the bracelet tongue still remains, with its similarly pierced flange.
