- Curator's comments
- Illustrated with glasses in 'Pottery & Glass Trades Review' April 1940, under the heading 'Britain can Export'. The cutting is typical of the elaborate work done for export which could not at that time be sold in the UK. The design may be by John Webb, son of Herbert Webb who created the firm's first modern designs in cut and engraved glass for the British Industrial Art Exhibition in 1933.
