Jug, blue glass, helmet-shaped, with massive loop handle and domed foot, the body cut with a pattern of shallow diamonds, the rim with deep bevelled curves.

- The jug (one of a pair, the other now in the Corning Museum of Glass) once belonged to Lord Suffield and was sold at Irelands, 16 September 1980 by The Trustees of the Gunton Park Estate, Hanworth, Norfolk. It was with Messrs Delomosne c. 1985-91 (see their Catalogue, 1991, no 25). It was then sold at Christie's, 8 November 1999, lot 329 (one of a pair) for £9,800 to Namara Fine Art.
