- Curator's comments
- For other pieces from this range, see J. Opie, Scandinavian Ceramics and Glass in the Twentieth Century, exhibition catalogue, London, Victoria & Albert Museum, 1989, no. 412. The mark incoporates the series name 'Berså', together with 'Bohus', the name of a different, ovenproof, service usually in plain colours, indicating that the 'Berså' pattern was applied to the 'Bohus' body. 'Bohus' was produced between 1959 and 1963 (see Gisela Eronn, 'Tusenkonstnären Stig Lindberg', Stockholm 2003, pp. 176-7).
