Description
Circular painted plaster cast from the local seal of Hythe, showing a one masted ship on waves in which are seven fish. Two mariners on the yard furling the mainsail. Embattled castles at each end. On board, to the left a trumpeter and to the right a steersman. In the field four small quatrefoils, two at each end of the ship.
