- Curator's comments
- Similar glasses from this series are illustrated in 'Decorative Art in Modern Interiors', The Studio Yearbook, 1967/68, p. 123. For 1960s Orrefors Glass see A. Duncan, 'Orrefors Glass', Woodbridge 1995 pp.68-72. See also A. Campbell-Manning, 'Recent Acquisitions at the British Museum', The Glass Cone - Issue no.53: Summer 2000.
Each different opaque glass colour heats and cools at a different rate, making it difficult to combine them successfully. As a result the 'Pop' series was expensive to produce.
