- Curator's comments
- Bing and Grøndahl were the main competitors of the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain factory at this time. They employed a number of skilled factory modellers such as Fanny Garde and Effie Hegemann-Lindencrone, who specialised in elaborate ornamental pieces with dense plant forms, as seen on this dish.
