Square copper-alloy weight with chamfered edges; engraved on front with two standing imperial figures, nimbed, and wearing paludamenta; each holds an orb and a spear; between the figures, at top, a wreath enclosing a cross, at bottom, the denominational mark for three ounces; the emperors' faces, hands, legs, the cross and mark inlaid with silver, some of which is missing; file marks on base and sides.
