MOVEMENT AND DIAL OF A VERGE WATCH WITH QUARTER REPEAT [DIAL-PLATE AND DIAL NOT ORIGINAL].

Full-plate with four pillars.
Barrel with tangent-screw set-up between the plates.
Fusee with chain. All-in-one steel stop-work spring and stop-iron screwed to the inside of the back-plate.
Four wheel train.
Verge escapement with steel 3-arm balance. Spiral balance spring with geared regulator, the silver index disc engraved 1-7.
Gilt-brass balance-bridge pierced with initials and foliate scrolls.
The movement is now mounted in a large diameter gilt-brass dial plate.
Pendant-operated quarter repeat mechanism, the steel gongs not original.
Later white enamel dial with hour 1-12 within a minute track. Winds through dial.
