Coffee-pot; porcelain; part of a coffee-set known as "Princess". Ovoid body with diagonal top, angled handle and narrow spout, the lid with knop in the form of a stylised crown . Applied gilt band down outside of handle and round opening at top, and round edge of crown .

Achtziger (born 1918) trained in the porcelian industry and then worked as a sculptor before returning to Hutschenreuther, where he continued to work until his retirement in 1983. This was his first table service.
