Watercolour of a mosaic from Cirencester, meander and labyrinth design.
Fragment showing all-over meander in dark grey against cream background. An uninterrupted band borders the mosaic, further inwards it is spaced with one square and one rectangular panel. inserted. The square contains a flower, the rectangle a band of guilloche. The border is white with a series of grey concentric lines, turning back on themselves opposite the guilloche. This may represent a labyrinth.

- The original mosaic dates from the second century AD. It reminas in situ, but buried, in Cirencester.
