MOVEMENT AND DIAL OF A VERGE WATCH.
Watch movement and dial; circular gilt-brass plates with four pierced Egyptian pillars; gilt-brass barrel with tangent-screw set-up; fusee movement with four wheel going-train terminating with verge escapement; steel 3-arm balance; spiral balance spring and Tompion regulator, silver index disc engraved 5-30; pierced foliate balance cock with mask at junction and diamond endstone in screwed-on setting; gilt-brass dial-plate with pinned-on white enamel dial, Arabic minutes 5-60 around the outside; Roman hours I-XII within; blued-steel hands.
